1. Creating a New Estimate in Sigma #

To work in Sigma, you need to create a new estimate for your project.

Click here to read the full guide.

2. Creating Your Work Breakdown Structure #

Create your estimates main headings (WBS), and then continue with the detail components of your estimate. For each heading, you’ll add components, sub-components, sub-subcomponents (and so on).

Click here to read the full guide.

3. Adding Resources #

Your estimate gives you a cost based on the resources included in the estimate, such as labor, material, equipment, etc.

Click here to read the full guide.

4. Reusing an Assembly #

To save time and provide consistency, Sigma lets you re-use an assembly from a previous estimate or from a library.

5. Check the Cost Prices #

Getting the costs right is what estimating is all about. Sigma makes it easy to check and update costs in your estimate.
